Took my mustang to the shop to get my 355 gears reinstalled. Thy had two of the Hardcastle and Mccormick TV cars there. The owner is getting the ready to sell.

I remember that show, always thought they were a cool looking car. Do you happen to know what they are or who made them?

I think I remember back in the 80's they were a kit car.
Pretty cool.
I remember that show. I even built the model of that car.

Found this information about them.
The original Coyote X was molded, modified and assembled by Mike Fennel. The car uses a chassis from a Volkswagen Beetle and its engine is from a Porsche 914. For the second and third seasons, they used a different Coyote which was based on a De Lorean DMC-12.
