Has it ever been done before?

Shaun just put 9 wide on the front of his 70. I personally don't think 9.5 would work. There are other considerations besides just fit....like the tire width you need with a 9.5 and the foot print it will have if you have a manual steer car. I've driven my 65 for years with a 245 on the front and manual steering...I lived with it fine, but I also know I wouldn't go bigger.
