Have I mentioned that long tube headers suck?
I started in on replacing the engine harness on the Trans Am tonight. Looking at the wires I was thinking this will take 45 min to an hour tops.
Wrong...part of the harness goes to the starter and can't get to the bolt where the wire attaches thanks to the frinkin header. Got the bolts out of the header where it attaches to the head...a few of which are a real pita to get to then said to heck with it for the evening. Something I needed to do anyway to fix an exhaust leak but wasn't on the to do list this evening for certain. Now I have to figure out if I can use the gasket made for the stock manifold for the header because I really know zip about said header other than it's a long tube of some sort.
Remind me again why we think it is fun to work on cars? LOL!
