HD 69 Headlight Switch

Is it true that the 1969 headlight switch is heavy duty? If so would that be a good replacement in my 65?

The basic wiring has some subtle differences between the 1969 and 1965/66 headlight switch, but for the biggest problem is adapting the 69 switch bracketry to fit the 65.

Is there a better quality switch for the 65 or are they all the same?

Never seen different qualities of light switches. Best thing is to wire relays into the headlight system to remove the heavy load from the switch.
