My name is Eddie and I've been a Mustang owner for a very long time. My first car was a '68 coupe that I owned from 1991-1992 Then in 1993 I was given a 1966 coupe as my High School graduation gift. I've done alot of work to the car over the years, but as I've gotten older my prorities have changed and life has become a little more complicated. Unfortunately, I haven't done much to the car in the past 3 or 4 years. She has 127k original miles on the odometer. In the past 19 years I've only put about 3k on her. Under the hood is a 289 2bbl. that is a little tired. The engine is totally stock except for the Pertronix igniter. The car was originally equipped with Pony interior and courtesy light upgrade, power brakes, and a/c. A few years ago I installed the clock/tach combo, passenger side mirror, front disc brakes, larger diameter front sway bar, rear sway bar, new upper and lower control arms and KYB front and rear shocks. The car had 14" wheels w/ hub caps and I upgraded them to 15" rally style wheels. The exact tire size escapes me but I'm almost certain that the rears are 235's and I think the fronts are 205's The front and rear of the car has been lowered 1" The car mainly sits in my garage with a cover on it. I take her out maybe once or twice per year. This car has lived in California all it's life. It has a smog pump on it and it was built in Palo Alto. Yesterday I went to the Knotts show and I saw alot of Mustangs and it got me thinking about mine. Here are some pics.
