Help me choose a master cylinder

Horseplay

I Don't Care. Do you?

I've got to finally pick out and buy my brake master. I am really having a hard time deciding if I want to go with a tandem or true dual master arrangement. As I am prone to do, I have researched this to the point of complete uncertainty. Here are the facts;

Street/strip car.
4 wheel Wilwood disk. Std Wilwood Dynalight 4 piston rear caliper. Big Superlites up front.
Std manual 6:1 brake pedal

So...

Do I go this way?

or this more common way?

Most importantly what bore size do I want? This will be a manual system so smaller is better as long as it has the volume...right?

IMHO , shouldn't you give Wilwood a call and ask what they think ???
Its about brakes , there is no guesswork on this matter.
Give the pro's a call .

First guys I talked to. Obviously, they directed me toward their tandem unit but wouldn't give me a definite answer on bore size. Many will work but there is a pedal effort difference depending on size. I was hoping someone on here had personal experience in this area and might chime in. I also was looking for insight on a tandem versus a true dual with a balance bar. Like I said earlier, I like to over analyze stuff until it hurts.

I ended up getting the Wilwood tandem. 1" bore. Unpolished, as I will polish it myself and save a few bucks. Also got a Wilwood master for the hydraulic clutch. It gets polished as well.
