working on my basket case, 67 GT 390 Power Brakes, the PO claims that the PO before him converted this car into an automatic years ago, when I purchased the car the old pedals were in the trunk, below are pic's of the pedal support with the brake pedal attached, the pedals beside are the pedals that were in the trunk, this is a Power brake car, do these look right?

received an answer from Mustang Steve here it is..

The power brake pedal is correct for 67. That is a unique pedal for that year and yours is correct. Simply trim the foot piece to match the one on the manual brake pedal and you can use it with the clutch pedal, which also appears correct for your car. The pedal support can easily be repaired with my BBK kit, better than it ever was.

For another $25, I can also offer you one of my adjustable clutch pedal stop conversions. You must modify the pedal support and pedal to install it. See attached pictures and compare to your original.

One thing you will find out when you install the pedals is that the 67-70 Mustangs with manual tranny and power brakes had a severe mismatch on pedal height. The clutch pedal will appear about 1" closer to the driver than the brake pedal. The adjustable stop helps correct that. If you want it original though, just install the rubber stop that fits your pedal support and with my bearing kit, you will have a really nice pedal set.

Heck, I will just slot my support and make a new stop myself while I have the support assy. out. I need a new stop anyway. Looks simple enough.

looks like you got all your answers, I was going to say the manual brake pedal you have is for non-PB car. The PB car's pedal is longer and mounts high in the support like your auto brake pedal while the non-PB shares the bushing for the clutch swivel.

Marti report confirms a manual trans w/ power brakes, the po said the original pedals were in the trunk, wrong! I knew pb pedal was longer, I'll trim down the auto pedal.
