I bought a new Cloyes timing set for my '67 with a '69 302.  Upon opening I was greeted with the attached warning note.  Comparing the old and new sprockets I see the new sprocket is flat on the face while the old one sticks out about 1/8 - 1/4", see picture.  Should the spacer have been included with the new timing set?  Using it as-is would cause the fuel pump lever to ride too close to the end of the eccentric.
