Here you go Jake

OMG, I didn't think it was possible, but as God is my witness.....I was WRONG.

oh, no kicking! Perfect time to clean and paint and detail!!! Now that you have acid stripped it and all...

LMAO.... good one Craig #2.

Duane only has 9 months to get his engine back in and running for MBB III. Don't get him sidetracked on ANYTHING..... he'll likely need every minute as it is.

Wondering why it sits so high, when you rebuilt the carb, did you have any parts left over?

Um, it could be from when he was off-roading on his test drive with the battery hold-down not installed and the battery flew into the radiator fan causing it to spew acid all over the engine compartment and eat the finish of all of the parts under there..... with the finish eaten off of everything, the car is naturally lighter.

After he replaces every underhood component the car should settle back down.

Sorry Duane, couldn't help myself.

Alternator blades Dave, not the radiator fan. The fan would've been too easy. I like to tell myself it was all due to torque and not the lack of a hold down strap. And yeah, that finish they put on there weighs a ton.
