Here you go Mid

Seeing all those flamingos reminded me of another blast from the past, I think about 15 years ago. I was trying to think of a good way to bring it up while making hole in one's at MBB last year when paired with Mid, but lacked the comedic alacrity to do so. IIRC, this was about the same time the first lawn flamingo appeared, back on the VMF.

He was working a problem with one of his cars and had a big hesitation issue, so I walked out in the garage with an early digital camera and caught this action shot to give him a comparison from a 4100 that didn't cause hesitation. He had installed something backwards, I believe it was the secondary venturi assembly into the primary throttle bore. At that time I came up with a play on Jim Carrey's 'Ace Ventura' role and coined the moniker Ace Venturi.

Funny how some things one remembers and others one forgets.

Thanks, Cam...you can't let me forget that, can you?

As far as that lake in Africa, it is world famous as the largest gathering place of pink flamingos outside of FL tourist shops.
