I know you have a track day today. It must take a lot of mental prep to get ready for these. To help you focus and get in the correct frame of mind I figured the least I could do is help you mentally prepare for what you're about to experience.

If I wreck the 66 tonight looking for PT's to pass..........

I thought of you Mark on the drive in to John's memorial service and couldn't pass up the opportunity of sharing what it's supposed to look like.

You can now follow the following instructions. :nk Don't kick too hard though I might need those.

LMAO!!! I can hear you now as you were driving to the memorial service......"John would've wanted me to do this."

That's exactly what was going through my mind, the PT was catching up and so I thought, if John was in the passenger seat he would have said ":wtf" So I made sure the PT remained in the rear view.

:cry I like those smelly nasty slimy things.

I seem to really want to help with this problem your having Mark. I guess PT's like me passing them out on the roads (this particular ocassion was heading South on THE 5 between Downtown LA and Anaheim) so I thought I would put together somewhat of a write up.

As you see and identify the back of a PT(which I'm sure your very familiar with) you begin adding downward force on your acceleration pedal.

As you start to get closer to the PT, DO NOT PANICK! This is the natural way of the world.
STOP GOING AGAINST THE NATURAL WAY OF THE WORLD!

Make your way over into a open lane as to not hit the PT

Proceed to pass the PT and maintain focus, you will begin to get very nervous at this point, but don't even look at it and everything will be okay.

Once you pass the PT you will see the following happen in your rear view mirror. Not the greatest photo example but you get the picture, pardon the pun.

Please note: the PT should, and I mean SHOULD become smaller in size as you watch it fade away in your mirror, not get BIGGER.

Back in March I had to drive the wife's cruiser to work one day when the shop got done fixing it.

I had to repost my pictorial creation regarding Mark's typical view :nk
