Are ya watchin the game tonight?

If you are, hang in there. We're the frickin Kings!

Steve, I will suffer the Dodger's 10:1 loss tonight with you, but the fact that I am a Sharks fan changes my entire mood completely.

What a Game!

looks like all has returned to normal as the Kings fell flat on their faces and lost in OT last night.

We now return to your normal programming...

Keep Braggin' before the game is over Steve. :roll :roll :yah :yah :yah :yah :yah

All we can do is watch.

Hopefully I'll be going to a round 2 game. :thu

MLB Takes Over Operation Of Dodgers
mk.jpg

LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Major League Baseball announced Wednesday that they are taking over operation of the Los Angeles Dodgers, citing concerns about the team's financial operations and day-to-day management.

Major League Baseball released the following statement on behalf of Commissioner Bud Selig Wednesday afternoon:

"Pursuant to my authority as Commissioner, I informed Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt today that I will appoint a representative to oversee all aspects of the business and the day-to-day operations of the Club. I have taken this action because of my deep concerns regarding the finances and operations of the Dodgers and to protect the best interests of the Club, its great fans and all of Major League Baseball. My office will continue its thorough investigation into the operations and finances of the Dodgers and related entities during the period of Mr. McCourt’s ownership. I will announce the name of my representative in the next several days.

“The Dodgers have been one of the most prestigious franchises in all of sports, and we owe it to their legion of loyal fans to ensure that this club is being operated properly now and will be guided appropriately in the future.”

The ownership of the team has been the central focus of the pending divorce of Frank and Jamie McCourt. The McCourts bought the Dodgers in 2004.

An announcement by Selig regarding the team’s new head is expected to come in the next several days.

YAWN...what's that? Baseball. Isn't that the thing ya watch when you're at a picnic? Its one of those so called sports where the players are fat and there's no need to pay attention until you hear the crack of the bat....then its back to doing what you wre doing. :nut :nut :yah

And besides....why post about baseball on a hockey post?

Maybe that is his little way of expressing his excitement about little boys playing on the ice.

Because this was my "gift" to Steve since he is such a big dodger fan. It has been all over the news here in the southland. I am like OK so bfd.

I suspect now that Selig is running the Dodgers, it's the best chance they've had in years to win a title! (they pulled out a pooper yesterday against the Braves - today it's the Cubbies - going to watch Mikey?)

Yeah I watch baseball when there is absolutely nothing else to do...

I do like to go to a game once a year....its a nice picnic with some on filed action once in a while. :sarc
