The pic is too small to see, but I believe those are the clips that you insert and then either pry apart to lock or pinch together to lock (can't remember).

Mark is correct. To remove the old you take a screwdriver and pry the tabs apart. This will close the retainer inside. Insert the new and close the outer tabs with pliers. This will spread the retainer insert.

When installing the 3/8 fuel line do you secure the two in the tunnel first then the back part then the front? Also when you guys have installed the fuel lline do you reistall back in the original positons where the old brackets where at? I am just a little affraid if I install the lines that when I put the tranny in that the lines will enterfear. One more ? in the front where the fuel line comes across the frame does it come across where the edge is cut out? Again I thank you guys for you Knowledge...I will get a picture of that ?...Thanks God bless

Again Thanks

You'll be fine with the transmission. You have two or three clips in the tunnel to hold the line. I can't really give you an accurate method as I re-ran mine with the car assembled and had to re-route it due to not being able to get a pre-bent line in. As far as coming under the frame at the front you should have a couple rubber plugs in the engine compartment that will allow you to go through it. I'll try and get a pic of my setup this evening.
