I haven't seen any posts from John for a while. Does anyone know how he's faring in the Carmel Valley fire?

Thanks for asking, we are OK. The smoke is smelly but the fire is a few miles away and shouldn't be a problem for us. Some structures have been destroyed and there are evacuations going on. It's hot and dry so the fire has a lot to work with. Cal Fire is an excellent crew and they have a lot of people on it.
