How much to lower car?

I just dropped off my '67 for all new exterior sheetmetal.

But I have a E-car question
How much is "standard" to lower the car vs. stock?

I was thinking of Flex-form fb leaf springs, was thinking of going 1" lower
Is that about right?
Thanks all

There is no standard as such but you do need to drop it a little IMO.

I used 4.5" Mid eye springs on mine and i am very happy with it. I haven't setup my front yet....

I copied Joe Sanborns setup after seeing his car.

Is Joe, Dave's Son?
Is that car still in the New Bern area?

That's a nice ride.
I ask because some of the E-cars look so low, they start looking very long. That extra 4' inches in the front throws something off if they car is slammed
Thanks

yes, Joe is Dave's son. I think Joe is still in New Bern.
My car is probably too low. I have Grab-A-Track 5 leaf std eye rear springs and the stock coils in front with a 1/4 of a coil cut off. The ORP roller perches lowered it a little more so I ordered new front springs. I also did the 1" Shelby/Arning drop on the UCA's. The car has Grab-A-Track gas shocks too.
