How To Celebrate A Birthday

Well, sadly, today I turned 60 years old. Don't feel it, and don't think I look it. All that alcohol is a good preservative. So, to celebrate, I did five dives here in Mexico over the last two days. Yesterday, I did a solo dive to 102 feet. No dive buddy to save my butt, which didn't need saving. Came up to 80 feet and hit about a 5 knot current that almost yanked the regulator out of my mouth. Kept on shooting pictures while I did a rock crawl and eventually came out of it pretty much. Surfaced to see eight dolphins swimming around us. Now that's the way to celebrate!

I'm going to have more preservative tonight, probably while shooting pool.

Well...Happy Birthday.

If anyone ever told me one day I would wish to be a 60 year old woman I would have decked 'em. Happy for you. Keep living it up. Keeps ya young.

Thanks! The two sea lions are pups and they are so darned fast, it's really tough to get a good shot of them. I was lucky this time. The fish peeking out is a puffer, and the last one is a nudibranch, which was about 3 inches in length.

Wait till your wedding night - sometimes they grow.
