Hydraboost

It's been a few years, but you might try Hydratech Braking www.hydratechbraking.com

Most of these retrofit kits involve some compromise in the interest of easy installation. The Mustang's stock pedal ratio (both manual and power) aren't "right" for hydroboost. But, apparently they work OK.

PJ was it you that installed the Hydroboost and cut the brake pedal to get the correct ratio? I seem to remember someone doing that

Yeah, that was me. I wanted to duplicate the feel of the brakes on my Bullitt, so I was careful to match the pedal ratio.

The Cobra unit mounts at an angle. To minimize side loading of the piston bore, I relocated the pivot so that the pin on the pedal moved as closely to parallel to the MC as possible.

There's a special tool out there for removing that huge nut on the back which allows you to remove the stock mounting plate. Most of these retrofit outfits make their own mounting plate. This gets rid of the slope and can also adjust for pushrod length. I couldn't get the nut off, so I chose to modify the pedal and pedal support, instead.

If I had it to do over, I'd get one of those special sockets and make a new mounting plate. I'd still have to modify the pedal to get the ratio right, but I wouldn't have to move the pivot point as much. As it is, I couldn't run a manual transmission if I wanted to. I have blocked the pivot for the clutch pedal...
