I travel to Johnstown, PA regularly to test our gear for the Navy. Usually, the weather up here is very poor: rainy, cold, and snow from Nov through April. I e-mailed the folks up there that they better get some snow on the ground for me, because I always tease them that it's always snowing in Johnstown. If not snowing, there's at least snow or plowed snow hills even during the summer months. They responded that they have to check with the Program Sponsor (my boss) to see if delivering snow on demand is in their contract.

Well, I had to travel today (Saturday) instead of Sunday because there were no flights out of Panama City on Sunday. And guess what? Upon arrival in Johnstown, it started to snow. Just yesterday, we had a cold front come through PC, bringing the high temperatures down from 86* to a miserable 76*. And now I'm suffering through 32* temps. I'm cursed.

Suckerrrrrrrr :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Welcome to the rest of us!

32 degrees in October should be illegal. Things have really cooled off around here, though, too. It got down to 80 today. I even debated closing the windows and turning the a/c on.

Welcome to my world, If your in Johnstown, Cambria County (theres a couple of them in PA), your about an hour and half east of me on route 22. The weather around here is colder now, then i ever remember it being this time of year.

It hasn't dropped this low, this fast, as far as I can remember. I know it hasn't done this in the 8 years I lived up here. Last year, it was 78 on my wedding day...on Dec 27th.
I've got a feeling this winter is gonna be ugly.

Yup...Johnstown, PA in Cambria County...site of the famous flood.

There were even flakes flying in midtown Manhattan the other day. This weather sucks.... way too early for this nonsense.

I was in 6" of snow in Trinidad, CO on 9/21. First day of fall and it was snowing so hard on I25 that at times it was hard to see where I was going. NOW that is too early.

I passed a couple of touring motorcycles and was sure glad that I was not them.

Randy take a little drive south on the 219 and you will end up in my home town. :nice And if you are feeling real adventurous cruise on over to the flight 93 memorial, as you do you will drive past my aunt's home. That is where I spent many a summer vacation growing up. :cool fd
