I bet these were harder to operate than these guys make it look!!!

Yes....even with the upper calf support, I bet one must have strong ankles........and leg muscles....and balance....wonder why they never lasted until now...?
 
I see your feet going out from under you (forward) faster than you could react! Can you imagine the lawsuits involved if someone made them now--lol
