I don't know how......

.....but my wife has put up with me for 36 years today. If I would have been her, I don't know if I could have lasted that long.....lol. I will say it has been good all the way. Normal ups and downs but without her, I would most likely not have been able to have the toys I have had over the years. My primary hobby has always been vehicles. We have owned 47 since being married. Of those, 35 were my toys in one way or another, the rest were family vehicles. Her hobbies have always been around the family and cooking. (I am proof of her cooking)

Now, since going full time Rving, our hobbies have dropped back some and are mainly each other now. This does make for a nice life now.

We both put in 100% and never go to bed mad plus we try to remember that what one says is not always what the other one hears.

This is all after 10 days of knowing each other and both having been recently divorced.

Congrats Pete, it takes a lot of work and concerted effort on both sides to stay together for any length of time. Deb and I are working 21 years and my parents just had their 50th in June.

Congrats on your 36th Pete. It sounds like you made a very good choice for a mate. Her on the other hand............ :conf

The reason why is that Linda basically has learned to ignore your bad habits.

Congrats, Pete and Linda!

Thanks all. For sure I married a special woman. Looking forward to a lot or fun being retired with her.

Congratulations, Pete. Don't sell yourself short, I bet you've done your part too. This is my 33rd year. And for you younger guys, if you can make it work you want believe what's in store for you when you get our age ( hint . . it's pretty great).
