It's time to mow the grass. Well, weeds, actually. The temperatures for the last 2 weeks have been anomalously warm, and spring has come about a month early. Once one mows the lawn, the lawn responds by growing more vigorously, and won't stop until mid-October.

I hate it! I hate it! I hate it!

I'm also too damn cheap to hire a neighborhood kid to mow the lawn.

Yeah, I have a similar problem with my big toe nail growing unseasonably fast this winter. I've applied a growth stunt hormone suave but it seems to have done nothing to the cause. I've asked my neighbor's hot cheerleader daughter to trim it yet she hasn't returned my calls.
