I wanted to take a moment to remember our friend John that we sadly lost about this time last year..."In our hearts John"

I can't believe a year has gone by. John is still (and will always be) missed.

"Hot August Nights" is going on right now, just when our loss occured last year. He is missed.

I was just searching for some info the other day, And naturally, One of his posts had my answers. You always got the right info from him.

Amen Brother.

I proudly say that I am his friend and always will be.

On a like subject, while going through my parents belongings last week, while cleaning out their home , I found a prayer card. Sent to my mother on my father's passing a few years ago from Vince and Toni. A gesture which again touched my heart.

Thank you to all here....you truly help those of us in need of friendship and support when needed.

And I cannot believe that a year has passed already. Thanks to those that have a part of John in their avatar, I like seeing it.

I have been steering away from this thread because I get a tear in my eye when I think about John being gone! I think of him daily when I look up over my door from the garage tot he house and see his picture. I think of Tracy and family frequently and would hope if there was anything we could do that she would ask. Or, maybe Sacbill would let me know.

He will be missed for a very long time! I know he watches over me and my projects. His hood resides on my 65 which I look out over daily and think of him.

Here's to you John and your spirit lives on!

I hear ya Mel. When I look at Freds 69 351 I think about all the engine build questions that I had for John. Man I miss hearing Scary's 408 with John's big grin behind the wheel.
