I must be getting old---going to fewer cruise-ins

I have been to "maple city cruise in" several times, I just couldn't get motivated tonight---town of 9900 people expected over 2,000 cars on display and over 20,000 spectators!---big un--(google it) --it is only 30 miles away---I should have my butt kicked---I stayed home and mowed--woo-hoo
 
I wish there were more around here. AMCC(bunch of chebbies) has a few here, but that's all that I know of. Plus my wife and most of my friends could care less about old cars. I need new friends.
 
If there were ANY around here I'd go, but sadly, that's one downfall to living in a very small farming area.
 
I manage about 5 per month around here. Most are 50-60 cars and one is a few hundred cars. There is the Emerald Coast show annually I may attend this year so don't have to look for parking.

We might get Mid out to one if it was in his front yard and the weather was just perfect......lol
 
..........but mowing the lawn was more fun........you are not old......just......well, yep, you are old...... :lol :lol :lol :lol

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. The other half has been gone for a week and I am off this weekend... Huge 3-day cruise-in over the hill from me with live music, etc. I was planning on driving over Saturday and hanging out, but instead I've ended up sitting around this weekend, feeling depressed about Johnpro and life in general. Did some yard work, worked a little on my truck, and watered the lawn. Big outing today--hit Walmart (woo-hoo)--and I'll probably work on the Comet brakes this afternoon. And the arthritis in my hands is acting up. Sigh...definitely getting old.
 
I didn't go to our annual huge cruise-in for the metro parks today. They average 4500 cars(25 yrs or older only aloud in). I was too burned out from saturdays show at summit.
