Sold a nice 2006 stx 4x4 outright. I have another 06 going for tomorrow if he can get financed and a pretty good shot at selling a 2012 new f150---there are some pretty good rebates out there on 2012s right now.

Congrats Rod.
Are you making full commision yet or do they have you on a training wage?
Full commission-( base hourly pay plus added com.). I am about sick of the computer time spent studying and taking tests! It is pretty amazing what some of the equipment does that is available or on these cars.

Well done. You're selling a good product.

A good friend of mine is a Chevy/Lexus to Ford convert. First he bought an 06 Saleen vert. Then 2 yrs ago he bought a used Fusion for his teenage daughter. A few months ago he replaced his wife's Suburban with a 13 Explorer. Then just last week, he reluctantly traded his Saleen for a 13 Escape. He's a happy camper. He commented that he's test driven GMs and Mopars, but found the quality and detail lacking.

I drive a 2010 Taurus fleet vehicle for work, and that is also a great car. The only problem is the C pillar and back glass blind spots.

That's good. Most of the dealers up here put new people on an hourly only training rate for sometimes a few months so they don't get any commision for a while.
