I stubbed my toe this morning

It really didn't hurt that much but it sure bled like crazy. It is now 7 hours later and it is still bleeding. So much for putting up new lights in the garage today. Sorry to share the details but my wife is giving me little sympathy. Check out my war wound that required 3 stitches. Pretty cool huh?

Stubbing the littlest toe has to hurt the worst, because there's almost nothing you can do.

I once (when I was 8 yo) broke a bone in my little toe attempting to *ahem* assist getting the dog to go outside through a sliding glass door. I missed and hit the metal door jamb with my little toe, breaking that little sucker. No splint was available, so I just had to grin and bear it...

That toe of ours looks nasty!

Ouch, wth did you do?

A couple months into working at Napa, I dropped a p/s pump on my right pinky toe. I screamed several profanities, but my wonderful coworkers didn't even check on me. I had to have broken it, but yeah, not a lot you can do for it. I did go buy some nice safety-toe boots a couple weeks later, though.

Ouch!

Little toe injuries hurt like heck.

Right before my test for yellow belt I was throwing a buddy of mine in practice and he landed on my little toe with his knee. Never did figure out if it was just bruised or broken but one of our black belts is a podiatrist and when I asked him about it he said there really is nothing you can do for a broken little toe besides tape it to the toe next to it. So I just took a couple of Advil, iced it down before I left the house and took my test.

Hope it gets better for you.

BTW, if you don't have time to get stiches you can use super glue. When I sliced my finger with a razor when putting the new carpet in the Mustang I glued it back together, worked pretty well and it is actually the cleanest scar I have, LOL!

I almost hate to admit how I did it. I was going to get my cell phone that was upstairs and went to run up the stairs. I jammed the toe on the post of the stairs. I also have rug burns on both knees, a chunk of skin off my big toe on the other foot and to top it off I jammed both middle fingers as I caught myself on the stairs. Both fingers have bruises all the way around the end joint. I am a nominee for dumb ask of the year. At least I did not break anything.

All this so that I could call my father in law to ask if he wanted to go to a Boise State Football game when my family goes to visit them for Turkey day.

to ask if he wanted to go to a Boise State Football game.....

You're right. Pretty dumb. Who in their right mind would not want to attend a Boise State game? I've been trying to watch as many of their games as possible for the past few years and feel they ARE WAY under-rated in the coaches poll's. They are IMO one of the most exciting teams to watch.
