It would be just a white blur---they are talking record snowfall here tonight---it is coming down fast right now, the wife came home at noon and the grandaughter never had school today. I am a trapped man for probably 2 days.

I went out a little while ago to check the drive out to the road. Took the garbage out while I was at it and got my face beat to shreds. Face north and it's like being hit with a sand blaster!

It's starting to remind me of last winter.

Bought gas for the generator/snow blower today and food for the fridge. I have plenty of work to do so I'm ready. Hasn't started here yet but we are supposed to get 10-15 inches tonight.

No need for any of you Californians to chime in. You can keep your million dollar tiny ranch houses, beautiful scenery, great food etc. etc... ! (Jealous...)

I think we're gonna get lucky... got 5"-6" last night, been good all day, and the last I heard it's gonna track north of us and blast Detroit. Looks like we're maybe gonna get up to 1/2" of freezing rain, and thaw by morning rush (fingers crossed).

Yeah california has better weather for the most part, except when the earth is shaking, or the house is sliding down the hill in a mudslide---we are all at mother natures mercy wherever we reside.

High 50's here in Sacramento (too cold to work on the car in the garage, brrrr), I can't see a cloud in the sky. In this area, we have to worry about the levee's breaking (Sacramento and American River's) and resulting flood.
