I would highly recommend: http://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/ to help troubleshoot. I've asked about dishwasher problems and most recently a problem with my fridge/freezer and the tech guys have helped troubleshoot and narrow down the possible problems. So far, I'd guess they have saved me $400-$600 or more.

Sure beats paying someone to travel to the sticks to replace a $50 part!

Sorry to disappoint, thought I might pass on some useful information for a change.

Can we bitch about wives now?

You won't catch me bitch'n about my sugar momma, at least not publicly.

+1 on SWMBO being a sugar momma. That's why I keep mine around (of course, she'll say she keeps ME around!). :hide

I must add, referring to mine as being a bitch ISN'T an insult. She's quick to tell you she worked hard for that title!!

And now...back on topic. A few years ago my Sony Cybershot camera stopped working, view screen dark and wouldn't take pictures. I looked online to see if I could find any help. I came across a topic where someone suggested smacking the camera against the heel of the hand. Sure enough, it worked like a charm. Sometimes the old-fashioned remedies still work best. :thu

So true......"get a bigger hammer" was a true repair technique in my Dad's day. One either fixed it or broke it forever, giving you reason to buy a new one.
