Alright, so after I changed my ignition switch, in my 1973 Mach 1, it wouldn't turn over. I jumped it at the solenoid. Now it will turn over with the key, and it wouldn't before. What is going on?

My 64 1/2 did that several times a few years ago. changed the solenoid, didn't help. But it hasn't done it for several years. Guess it was a goblin.

It may be common in the 60's Ford's. One of the club members who was a mechanic at Ford immediately jumped it before looking at anything else.
