I'm petitioning that my life sentence be commuted, having reached 27 years tomorrow, all with good behavior. Included in this time was 10+ years of living with my cell mate, who suffers from menopause, is enough punishment for any crime committed. My crime? Unfortunately, I said those two nasty little words: "I do". I promise never to do that again, and so far, I've kept my word.
I suspect that the Parole Board will deny it, just like the last 26 times I've petitioned them. Please! Let this be the year I can be set free!
