Nancy Grace musta had a heart attack when she heard the news that Casey Anthony was found innocent of murder.

SWMBO has been watching non-stop the past 4 weeks or so...I hope now things will get back to normal around here.

That verdict was hard to believe. Now Casey can go out and party without the burden of having a child to take care of. She'll pay someday.

They have not really reported on that case up here all that much thankfully. I am glad to not hear her name any more though.

So you think. She'll be in the news off and on the rest of our lives unless she ODs on something or gets knocked-off. People like this always seem to be in the news.

We were in Orlando (Disney) when that case was first breaking 3 years ago. It was all over the news then so I followed the trial a little.
F'd up story/woman to be sure... but that must have been one hell of a Public Defender...

I think it was more the prosecution's lack of evidence, to be honest.

And I also don't think this will be the last we see of Casey Anthony. Guaranteed she has a reality TV show within a year...

And since she is not guilty she can 'sell' her story. Her and OJ have a mental block that they didn't do it.

Doesn't matter really...the press will just find some new trial to sensationalize to keep the average sheep in American entertained instead of giving them real news.

If they want a new trial to follow, there is probably one coming up in my area.

I knew the woman (Christie) who was murdered in this case...I dated her older sister pretty seriously back in high school then on again / off again in college. I had not talked to Christie in years even though she lived not too far from us. Not sure about all the details but after the autopsy report came back they arrested her husband pretty fast. I've never met him but he appears to be a real gem...a fast google search and it appears he was involved in some sort of shady ponzi scheme, I had heard through the grape vine he had been busted by Christie for cheating on her several years ago, etc, etc.

I heard about Christie's passing when it happened back in February but thought it strange no one was saying what happened to her at that time. I heard from a source that lives in the neighborhood where the murder happened that apparently her lovely husband tried to make it look like she committed suicide by hanging herself...not sure if that's true or not.

Murder trials are the new Reality TV shows, Nancy Grace, Dr. Drew and Joy Bahar turn my stomach. They have all used a child's death to promote their shows, gather ratings and feed on a public frenzy for a circus show. I was hoping Nancy Graces head would explode on the verdict, none of her statements I heard were based in fact, just want she wanted to say to inflame listeners. My wife has been watching it for weeks, I go to the garage to get away from Nancy's voice. I told my wife 3+ wks ago she would be acquitted do to lack of concrete evidence and continued to say it but she didn't want to hear it....
She's no more guilty than OJ, by the way, where was he when she disappeared? art

I heard somebody, ahem, a rather well known conservative pundit, mention today how odd it is the uproar over the murder of a 2 year old, but nothing about a fetus. The baby was unwanted and inconvenient. This was just an abortion 2 years too late.
