Okay I will be the first to admit I underestimated this A LOT! Wow did this kick my butt. I gave swmbo a kiss just before going on the table and she didn't see me for 12 1/2 hours later, the actual cutting went on for over 7 hours, reamed out one artery and replaced 6 others, I think the most pain was in my back, I cannot lay flat for that long without a lot of pain, had a couple of setbacks (blood pressure dropped to 60 over 40 once and heart rate went over 180 once after a walk) had lots of people in the room when that happened. Lots of rehab in the future. I will not preach to anyone but I wish I had been a little more carefull with prior health! Also I can say a lot of our youth in the medical field are not very devoted! (some are) I would not wish this on anyone!

Glad you got through it.

Having been filleted myself, I'll give you a few of pointers.

Take advantage of cardiac rehab. Not only will they teach you an exercise regimen but they will also teach you good eating habits and how to better deal with stress.
At 4 weeks you'll feel better, but you're not healed.
Take any signs of depression seriously. You will be very prone to it.
Move into the lazy boy until you can roll over without pain.

Glad everything went well. Hey, I work at the hospital, and I will be the first to not comment on your comment. LoL. Because your right.

Just kidding, sort of.

Glad you're back! Get your health house in order! We need the jokes!!!! You missed another Detroit Lions W!

Welcome back. Glad to hear that they did not attach a foot to where your nose is, or cut something off that you need. :sarc

No Preaching needed, I already am trying to take care of myself.

Glad to see you back so soon Rod! As stated by Sluggo, a recliner is your best friend. My dad told me that after his quad by-pass a few years ago.

I'm not welcoming you back Rod, because I knew you weren't leaving!

But I am glad to hear it went well. Here's to a speedy recovery! :pbj

Welcome back, but does this mean I don't get your car afterall? :shrug
I don't know what the wifes plans would have been for our cars---all I know is she came in the room sunday to visit with a good friend and she was smiling---hey what are good friends for!
