Indy-Auburn and a show

So on my travels I thought...why not go to Indy Museum...and then just north is the Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg Museum.
Then I hear of a car show downtown...I join in with a very dirty car.
















And then why do people do this to their cars?

Somewhere I saw this behemoth being restored. One of those cars.tv shows. They talked about its history, I found it interesting at the time, but it is a gm so really did not commit it to memory.
