I don't know the origin of many of the inside jokes here, but if this hood ornament didn't have a little sentimental value, I would have to donate it. It came off my great grandpa's 41 Chevy that got hit by a train back in the early 50's. This is the only part that was saved.

Yeah, it got a big wtf! The next time I'm heading home from work when it's dark I have a pic to snap and post. Tried the other night but getting the phone up at 60mph was tough. There is a tree on one of the backroads that was trimmed for power lines. The middle is cut out of it so coming up on it the shape resembles an owl. There is a street light that sits behind it and when it's dark it looks like a huge outline of an owl with this backlit glow. Sad to say the first words out of my mouth when I noticed it was, "What the hell?"
