Is it wrong...

to be secretly amused when your sister-in-law, who just may be the world's biggest bitch and the pure embodiment of evil, totals her new Mercedes?

Mitigating factors: it was entirely her fault, although she was trapped in the car and the doors had to be pried open she suffered only slight bruising, and no one else was injured.

Does this make me a bad person?

Only if you were the one who cut her brake lines!

I like how this guy thinks.

Had a similar incident with my sister in law, she picked the best-designed intersection within 50 miles as the perfect place to pull out in front of a dodge truck towing a large trailer. Car was 9 kinds of f-ed up, but everyone was OK. My only comment was "Darwin at work, I knew she was too dumb for her own good". :rofl

I forgot to mention that her dog was in the car at the time, and it too was unhurt.

Would it to be too obvious to send a card stating that I was glad the dog was okay?

Only if you send one to the dog and not to your sister in law.

Send to the dog.....

I am glad you escaped unhurt from your recent tragedy. I hope your master recovers from her problems soon.

Good Luck,

Negatory.

Too bad you could not see her reaction to the Fire Dept. chopping up the new benz. :wm?

I don't know the answer but if you figure it out let me know....I have a liberal brother in law that really bugs the crap out of me and lets just say if he and I were somehow stranded on an island together he probably wouldn't live very long.

Nope, not at all. The key point being "secretly amused". An open display of amusement could cause a rift between you and your brother...... and then "the worlds biggest bitch" would come between you and your brother probably deminishing the relationship.

In-laws are tricky business.... you're kind of stuck with them. Watch from the sidelines and laugh internally all you want, but respect the decisions that your "blood" have made and stand by them.

My daughter is married to an idiot! Can't stand by this one. :beat

Not to hijack this thread but I too have a very liberal brother in law. Drives me crazy!!! :craz

Then I have the biggest B*(tch of a sister in law in the world. Last Christmas someone stole $400 from my wife's purse at a family event. I knew it was my brother in law but couldn't prove it. I threw a fit and made a big deal of it. It did not go over well with my home life.
lesson learned..... Sometimes you have to keep your mouth shut in order to keep the peace.
