Same here, my Dad said he had handled all the arrangements as far as cremation and burial. We found out after his passing that he optted for the fat cardboard tube that said "Human Remains" on what looked like crime scene tape (I'm sure they trashed it up for the guilt trip on the kid's) anyway we sprung for the oak box with the gold handles as a upgrade. Heck years ago my father suprised me by saying he doesn't want to take up room on this earth after he's gone and wanted to be cremated. He got his wish. Not saying that's not frought with rip-off also but at least Mom didn't pay for a chrome handle huge box....only a small one.
