NOT!

I took this photo of the outside temp gauge in my truck about 20 miles north of DC. here in Maryland, at about 2:30 this afternoon. The gauge is pretty accurate according to weather reports on the radio. I don't ever remember it getting to 108 degrees before. Thank God for AC!!

Yea, it's brutal!

And Mark (silverblueBP) keeps stealing all of our rain! It hasn't rained here in weeks!

Tim

Hey Tim, you can have it buddy! I keep sending it East, don't know why you're not get'n it (rain that is).

Where's algore screaming about global warming? He's been AWOL since Tipper gave him the boot :lol

That kinda weather around here is just called summer. June through August is almost constant triple temps with 60%+ humidity. It SUCKS. It's that sticky, nasty, I gotta shower 4 times a day hot.

It's better than 4' of snow though!

Your exactly right! I spent most of the day in the comfort of AC and when I got home I didn't have to shovel a thing! Felt sorry for the people that had to work out in it though!

Oh I know exactly what you are talking about, I suffered in that crap when I was in the USAF. South Florida was not bad temperature wise, just the humidity. Alexandria Louisiana (England AFB) is a different story, that is why I worked the graveyard shift. Too fracken hot and humid during the day.

Heard about your weather on the news today. Mid 80's here during the day with the lows touching the 50's. August and September are our hot months. But we still do not have the humidity of the south. :dh

That temp is pretty normal for around here this time of year, but luckily we don't have the humidity. When the temp hits above 100° F, the humidity is normally in the single digits. I hate it when it gets above 110°F, then it don't matter what you do, it's like being in a blast furnace.

It was in the low 70's, high 60's today. People had jackets and beanies on today. It was overcast and misting most of the morning. Our June gloom has lasted into July, wonder home much longer it's going to last.

Yeah its bad here to Dave.....had to wear a light jacket in the morning...almost had to zipper it up....evening is usually okay in shirts sleeves and leave the windows open at home. :vic :beat :lol

This morn driving the mustang into work, I had both windows down. It's gonna be a fun ride home tonight -- 102° and a dark brown car. I really need to get it repainted sometime in this lifetime...

We flew into Phoenix 2 weeks ago and it was 110. The next day in Yuma it was 114. There is a considerable difference when the humidity is removed. Around here.... Eastern NC right next to the ocean.... anything over 90 degrees with +30% humidity is unbearable. The 114 with zero humidity was pleasant compared to what we experience around here.
