Congrats! I'm hoping to do the same this weekend with my el camino... been acquiring parts for the last 6 months.

For mufflers, I have dynomax super turbos on my 331 Mustang engine. They are not the quietest, but the do have some fiberglass baffling to help mellow the tone a bit. I got the same ones of the chebby too. If the motor is stock they should be fine.

The old turbos sound pretty good. See what the local shops have to offer....sometimes people don't give them a shot at comparison shopping.
