The time has finally arrived, we knew it from the very first day that it would get here sooner than we wanted. It seems like only yesterday we were picking little Ansel up at the airport. 1 year and 5 months has come and gone since that day and it's time for him to start the next phase of his life. We take him to Delaware, Ohio very soon so he can attend 6-9 more months of advanced training that will hopefully prepare him for a life as a service dog. Our hopes are high, but also realize that only 40% of the CCI pups make it as service dogs.
We've taken him everywhere we can think of, exposed him to as much as possible and have played as hard as acceptable. We'll surely miss his wrinkled face and the never ending propensity to lick, but he's learned as much as we can teach him and knows his commands quite well.
We put together a little video with the best pictures of the last 17 months. Hope you enjoy puppy pictures!
