Jeez, I've never had someone talk smack to me in an email...

I'm used to talking shit on forums and in real life. Seems like people are more apt to talk shit on forums than anywhere else in the world. That said, I just got some in an email. :wtf This is new for me!

I have a somewhat worthless used 5.0L shortblock for sale. These things are about *this* far above the value of dirt. Some guy emails me saying he's got an "in" at the shipping company and would I please strap it to a pallet and ship it to him?

Conversation went a little like this:

Hi,
Yes, I still have it, but I have no way to crate it for shipment. UPS wanted $175 to ship it anyway, so it's not really feasible.
Thanks

Well the easiest way get it ready to be shipped is just put it on a pallet uopside down and strap it wih a couple of cheap ratchet straps. I use to work for a freight company and get good deals on shipping, all I would need is your address to get a quote?

I don't really have any means to do anything relating to shipping something this big at this point...but, I did move the engine to a better location; it's right up the street from National Trails Raceway in Columbus, Ohio, if you're anywhere near there?
Thanks

Nevermind! can't get anyone to shipp things anymore unless they will fit in a shoe box.

The fack? Seriously! I must be a lazy mofo because I don't want to ship 180lbs of engine that's worth $50, and I don't own and probably can't borrow a truck to wrangle it around in?

Some damn people! I just dont get it!
