:wtf ?

Yesterday Shag and I drove to the bike shop and then down to Jeff's house to pick up a trunk load (140+pcs) of Meyer lemons from his backyard which are a cross of a lemon and a mandarin, named after Frank M. Meyer back in 1908. Until you have one, you'll never understand why some of us can't get enough........(of them).

After I got home, I juiced 80 of them into 13 cups of concentrate which I froze into 1 cup flat blocks for future Meyer lemonage / Mustang parties. Today the wife took a bag of them to her work and I brought some to work for my Ferrari guys next door. Tonight I will finish juicing the rest.

Oh, that makes me really want to try and sneak a small tree across the border for my house in Mexico. I have been told that my grapefruit tree has a bumper crop on it right now. I'm headed down there on Thursday with margarita mix and the juicer.

Dang! Wish I could grow those here. Guess I just have to settle for the peaches and apples (if I can keep the squirrels away).

Here's 13 frozen single cup blocks. 5 more currently being frozen.

I think BeachPony should take a couple packets in his luggage the next time he goes to Columbia and see what happens.

My fiance's grandfather has a couple small trees in his yard. We collected some on Monday and she promptly turned them into a syrupy pastry topping. It has yet to see any actual pastries, we'll see if it lasts that long...
