had this whopper arrive today... it's a 40 cadillac lasalle coupe. this thing is HUGE!!! it makes that 39 chev sedan look like a scale model. it's almost 2 ft longer than the chev. color will be caddy "white diamond" pearl.

yeah, rear fenders are now molded in & the whole front clip has been molded into a one piece doghouse. car is setting on a later model fleetwood frame that has been shortened a few inches.

empty right now....it had a 460 in it for a while but i think he's gonna put a LS1 or LT motor in this time.

after 5 straight 16 hr days, i finally got color on the pimpmobile. i felt like i was painting a bus! it took 1.5 gal of high build clear to get two coats coverage on this thing.... everything laid out well considering the 95 degree temps. only had one little run in the clear @ the nose of the hood.

he wants a 1/4" blue stripe & 1/8" pink one... his idea, not mine :scar i'll be farming that out to my pinstriper. need to get him over here to stripe the 38 harley knucklehead i'm finishing up so he can do both at the same time.
