It's just the camera angle playing tricks with your head. Your country lost. If your country really wanted to win, they should have scored more goals. Get over it and get back to manufacturing/exporting more Guinness.

Winning by cheating is still winning and still cheating. Non-call by refs (home field advantage?) doesn't matter. The game is over. There are many such non-calls in sports history. Only those involved are really hurt by it. The rest of us are just spectators with no bearing on the outcome.
And I rather have the Irish Whisky than that brewed stuff. :craz

I've been pretty busy lately so i missed this but yes this did happen...Do i care? No but I hate the French anyways for other reasons.
More to the point i hate football/Scocer....Its a girls sport. A bunch of overpaid nancy boys more worried about breaking a nail than winning a game.
The whole country went nuts about this, even our Taoiseach(President in USA speak) got involved.
All in all i laughed......
Now...if you want to watch a proper sport...Rugby is the only one......and no girlie padding or helmets....
