Kicking around the idea of a new project.

Been considering a new project for a while.

Looked at several options including 69 Cougars and 66 Fairlanes.

I've decided to go another route partially inspired by the Volvo project.

I'm on the hunt for a 76-77 Toyota Celica liftback. No need for a drivetrain but roller would be nice. Body must be complete.

That is AWESOME! The SBF would be a good choice since it is so narrow. It is about 1.5" narrower than my LS in my Volvo. I imagine under hood space is really limited with a Celica.

Plenty of room for an SBF. There seem to be a few that have V8s out of Lexus LS. The heads on those things are huge. It would be like cramming a Hemi in there.
Have not done a bunch of research yet but it sounds like the firewall does not have to be altered.

No firewall mods = easier than my Volvo . I wonder if you will have to fabricate a new trams tunnel. Both are pretty easy projects if you have to though. If you do go forward I would be subscribing to a build thread.
