Kidney Transplant for G-MA

Hey everyone, had to share the good news. As I am getting ready for bed I get a call from UCSF that they have a kidney for G-MA. Wu-whoo. Called in sick for tomorrow they need us to be there STAT for a super early morning surgery. Ill keep you all posted.

Good morning everyone, unfortunately once the kidney came in the doctor saw that it wasn't worth using. He stated that they tested it via biopsy and that it would probably be good for a month maybe two so it wasnt worth all the risks involved to try it again.

Abe, sorry to here that news. How is your Grandmother handling the news?

Not too bad, just really tired, chillin in the bed. Trying to get her to relax , this amazing view of SF with a partial view of the GG Bridge from the 9th floor of UCSF medical center is really helping.
