Looking for a replacement laptop for my older Acer Aspire 5100. The hinge is loose and before it breaks I would like to get a replacement to transfer all my documents and stuff over. I am looking at getting this one, any pros or cons to it?

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 600m and I hate to say [nb]I'd rather have a Mac[/nb] that I've had very few problems with it (and it's a 2005 model).

My GF has an HP and I like it a lot more than my Dell Latitude. The screen resolution is much cleaner.

Don't own that one, but I have two Dells, and no trouble with either. Also, the company uses Dells, and little trouble with them.

I've had a bunch of Dell laptops and have liked them all...no problems either. I buy from Dell's outlet though, and I usually wait for a sale so I can get a killer deal, but there aren't any right now.

That looks like a decent deal, but I'd go for the extra large battery...I'm spoiled now though, 7 hours on a single charge is easy to get used to. :lol I bet you could find an identical one on their outlet site with the large battery for ~$15 more.
