Next weekend is the start of deer season. Here are a few of the pictures from last week. I can not wait for the season to start.

The wild boar would be the best payback for pounds of meat per bullet.

It was a warm first day of deer season. Only saw a coyote late in the morning when I was about to call it quits and go in for breakfast. So I took the coyote out. We lost too many chickens to these thiefs.

In the afternoon only saw a skunk. I held back the urge to shoot it.

At dusk, I doe finally came to the feeder. Took it down with one shot. It was close, only 40 yards. It dress out to around 40 lbs.

Had venison burgers last night and venison sausage with my farm fresh eggs this morning.

This is down the street. About 3 miles north there were maybe 900 to 1000 on Sunday.
