Launching new business Venture this week

Well barring any unforeseen delays in production and last minute details my latest business venture will be off an running this weekend.
I've been looking at something else to do with my time since retiring from showing dogs Nationally for close to 25 years. That was three years ago and time to do something else. I was just tired of being on the road and wanted to spend my time at home with my kids while they still are kids.

I've always been good at making something from nothing so here goes again. We will be selling a number of Sports related items to fans first starting in our local area but hopefully on a limited national basis by fall. I can't give full details yet........ but our kick off will be at Giants games this weekend ( Where else)

I have two partners and we each bring different abilities to the table. I will be doing mostly Marketing and Promotion, another partner will be the Pitch man and Sales, and third the talent ( Designs and produces actual items) We have secured our domain and company names and web site should be up to coinside with kick off.

Been self employed for my entire working life been there got the tee-shirt heck even survvived mutiple audits :$$$
 
Why do I picture you selling t-shirts out of the trunk of the Mustang at Giants stadium? Just Kidding, best of luck...

Hope I don't have to mark down the Stang-Fix Tee's :lol One day going to work up to tee shirts have a fantastic tee shirt idea but not sports related.....................Car Restoring item. You watch plan to go Public sometime next spring :$$$

I was thinking this weekend that it would be cool if someone started a rental car agency that only rented out classic cars. I mean you can rent a mini van or a '65 vert while on vacation in Florida or California, etc....

Problem would be it would cost a ton to restore enough cars then the upkeep not to mention lack of trunk space. Guess you'd also have to have pretty good insurance due to the theft risk.

If I took the kiddos somewhere I wouldn't rent one but if it were just me sure I would.

To say things did not go according to plan would be severe understatement :rp Basically very much like one of my favorite Clint lines................ for anyone not familiar our Launch was a CLUSTER _UCK.


That said hope springs eternal.


We put ourself under what may of been an unreal deadline and everything will just have too wait a couple of weeks. No one died, didn't loose every cent I own, the idea I think will still work once we get the bugs ironed out, we could of offered an inferior product at lower price point and force the issue, however I felt was more important to wait and keep creditability and get all our ducks in a row.

That statement right there tells me you will be successful! Not sure what youre doing but no matter what it is, people are getting sick and tired of inferior crap and will gladly choose a better product.
 
Good luck with it, Mark. I've known you long enough to know that you'll have a well thought out plan going in, and will likely be very successful in the new adventure. Definitely keep us posted.
 
Now, had you been wearing a mankini. Oops forgot, it has no pockets to hold all those one dollar bills.
