I want to light up the tails with LED's but was interested in a direct replacement solution, not the PCB type. Has anyone tried the 1157 type LED's that are on the market now? Mustang Projects sells them but so does www.superbrightleds.com. Also, looks like several dealers selling on ebay as well. Any thoughts or experiences on these in 70 taillights?
I know brightness has been a weak point on these as well as the possible requirement of electronic flasher. I would prefer a standard bulb type replacement solution for the tail lights. Also would be interested in reverse light LED's that work.
