LED Turn Signals

I added Amber LED turn signals bulbs to my driver. In the picture, the driver side is LED and the passenger side is the incandescent bulb with an amber coating.

I like the brightness of the LED during the day, the color just is not that classic look. I wish the lens was amber like the 65-66s. Maybe I could color it with some of those fake stain glass paints.

In one of my '66s, I used the LED that fit into the regular socket and retained the factory lens cover. I got them from Mustang Projects.....sorry, no pics.

That's exactly what I'm running and it looks good to me
 
Yep, just swap to the amber lenses. I was told that LEDs are most visible if the lens cover is the same color as the LED bulb.

do they make a amber lens cover for 67-68 or will I have to make one?
