Linkage carb - accell pedal - auto trans

Which part has kind of an end stop so I can adjusted the linkage to the other parts ?

I presume I have to floor the accelerator pedal to adjust the linkage to the carburator so the butterflies in the carb don't bent.

And the same method has to be done with adjusting the linkage cable to the auto transmission?

Right ?

Yes, in fact a 68 coupe.
